This Hotel was the nicest place I have stayed. Better that the 4 seasons or the Novotel in Times square. Simply amazing. Buffet breakfast. Happy hour with food and complementary beverage and a shuttle service that will take you and pick you up. 2 Blocks from the Metro and just an amazing staff bent over backwards to help us and our three children out. Just excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The perks that came with the hotel were like those of a 4 or 5 star hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the DC area. It was two blocks from the King street's metro station which is easy to use for first time visitors. The hotel is clean, neat and comfortable and the staff is superb.

The hotel itself was spotless and our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was outstanding and so was the service.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Alexandria Old Town comprises 240 suites ideally suited to the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. The eight-story, non-smoking hotel is located in the historic old town area within walking distance of a wide range of shops and restaurants. The property is close to the King Street DC metro station enabling an easy journey to downtown DC with its myriad of monuments and memorials. Items included with the room rate are a breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, a managers reception on Monday through Thursday evenings, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel has three meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 50 guests.
