Vermont might be a skiers haven but staying at the Green Mountain Inn is reason enough to come. It first started out as a private home back in 1833 but it hasn’t lost that homey feeling in all the years that it has become a hotel. Located in the heart of Stowe Village you are never too far away from the action. There are plenty of shops, galleries and restaurants for you to choose from. Outdoor enthusiasts love coming here as well. Whether it is for the skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, biking or golf, you’ll make the most of your Vermont experience.

The Green Mountain Inn is so inviting and the staff is absolutely amazing. Plus, you are so close to much of what Vermont has to offer. The surrounding scenery is postcard perfect and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Although this isn’t a fancy hotel you still feel as though you are getting the best service in town. The one complaint raised was that the restaurant could have stayed opened later but there are enough options around to make sure you don’t go hungry. Read our customer reviews?
Green Mountain Inn Accommodations
Each room at the Green Mountain Inn has been carefully designed with your comforts in mind. There are three room choices for you to consider – standard rooms, deluxe rooms and luxury rooms. Some have Jacuzzis and marble bathrooms while others are simple, yet comfortable.
Amenities offered
The hotel has a wonderful outdoor pool that is open all year long as well as a great health club to ensure your muscles are in tiptop shape. Rather chill in the room for a while? You can watch your favorite DVD or go online with the wireless and DSL Internet hook-ups. The restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast and the Whip Bar and Grill is a great choice for dinner.

Drive down Interstate 89.
Take exit 10 and follow Route 100 ten miles north to Stowe.
The Inn is located on Main Street (Route 100) at the intersection of Route 108 (also called The Mountain Road).
