Customer Reviews for Doubletree Hotel Burlington

Doubletree Burlington VT was wonderful - posted on 11/01/2006

This was a very clean impressive room. The bathroom floor was the cleanest hotel bathroom floor I have seen in a long time. The bed was very comfortable.

Reasonable value - posted on 03/06/2007

Exellent proximity to I-89, two miles to the airport. Rooms were great, able to shut off room for one to watch TV while the other slept after a long day. The downsides were pool is small, a long walk to the room and the restaurant decor was tired and service slow.

SWEET DREAMS INDEED! - posted on 02/23/2007

I was really impressed with how dust-free the room was. I absolutely loved the bed. I'm considering purchasing one for my home. The location of this hotel is excellent and in close proximity of restaurants, shopping and touristy places. Although my room was a little worn, I would stay here again.

Good hotel for the dollar - posted on 07/09/2006

Hotel was immaculate, bed super comfy. Room was spacious, however I've had larger broom closets than the bathroom..tiny, not for someone who needs space (i.e. seniors or "large" persons).

Very nice hotel, loved the separate bedroom from kids and own TV in the room.

Not that happy - posted on 05/20/2006

Stayed here before and was happy but not this time. When I went to turn down the sheets it looked like they had not been changed from the night before. There were several crumbs between the sheets and I don't feel they were apologetic enough. The girl who came from housekeeping was tho. This should never have happened.

Hot cookies - posted on 05/03/2006

We loved this hotel! Checked in late after driving in 4 hour snow storm and was greated with hot chocolate chip cookies! My senior daughter and I were in Burlington to tour UVM. Hotel was close to college and shopping. The rooms were clean and people quiet. I am a light sleeper so I didn't like the heater frequently turning on and off. I turned it off, room temp stayed fine. Great pay per view selection. The restaurant breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone. Looking forward to returning since we decided on 4 years at UVM.

Drean Wedding - posted on 02/18/2006

The staff put together a wedding to remember. Just the two of us and about 30 people we didn't know. The director of catering made us the happiest couple in Vermont. The room was heavenly, the pool was the nicest I've ever seen. The lobby staff were super nice and lovely. Trader Dukes staff was the best, The food awesome. WE ARE GOING BACK.

Remodeled - posted on 07/19/2005

We spent two nights at The Doubletree in Burlington. The rooms had been refurbished and the grounds are quite lovely. The bathroom was very small but the "bar" in the main room had the sink which helped. No free breakfast but a good restaurant, a true plus when you're tired.Refrigerators in room rather than ripoff mini bars.Free parking, elevators to second floor. Good value.

I reserved the "Romance Package" for my wife's 50th birthday. In did not receive any part of the package.I spoke with the desk person twice ,still no package. The room was booked @ $169.00. Upon check out recived a bill for $256.00. I was charged for a meal we never had. Also a charge of $.50 for a call to the dining room IN THE HOTEL !

Remodel needed! - posted on 11/02/2004

Due to their good rates (and the Clarion name) I stayed here on business....I really should have picked another place. No high-speed internet (a must on business) and rooms that could really use a remodel.
