The 359-room Marriott Salt Lake City-City Center provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price for the upmarket leisure and business traveler. The 12-story, non-smoking is located near the historic Temple Square and the Gallivan Center. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, shoeshine, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are 14 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest, the Capitol Ballroom, can accommodate 700 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, seven ski resorts, ES Arena, home of the Utah Jazz, Hale Center Theatre, Hogle Zoo, Clark Planetarium, the Utah State Capitol Building, Lagoon Amusement Park and shopping at Gateway Plaza and Gardner Village.

All the guestrooms, and 17 suites, have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, CD player, in-room safe, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, pullout-sofa bed, iron and ironing board, bathrobes, hairdryer and two-line cordless telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. The marble bathrooms have a separate tub and shower. The more expensive concierge level rooms include a continental breakfast, evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

This hotel has an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center and a massage therapy center. The Piastra restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there is a Starbucks Coffee on-site which is open throughout the day. Room service is available from 6am until 11pm.
