Beautiful room; Excellently trained staff.
great value - posted on 02/28/2007
Just got back from our ski trip to SLC. The Little America Hotel was great - good location, easy access to freeways and downtown. A beautiful, clean hotel with very generously sized rooms (we stayed in the tower). Able to purchase discount lift tickets @concierge. All ski mountains were 30-45min. drive. Would definitely stay here again - a great value!

Lovely hotel, fun pool and great central location to ski resorts and city events. Relaxing escape to visit as a local or from out of town.

The Little America is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. It was so clean and spacious. The employees were very helpful and nice. The restaurant was wonderful and reasonably priced. I will stay there every time I go to Salt Lake. Thanks for a great visit

Great hotel. Nice big rooms. Hotel staff were very accomadating on making your stay a special one. The only thing I didn't like is that I received a room outside of the hotel facility and I had to walk in the cold to the pool/hot tub/gym.

This is a hotel with large clean and well equiped rooms. Great location.

We've stayed there on numerous occasions in each of the room types and we love it. The Courtside rooms are a bargain, the Garden rooms are lovely and the Tower rooms are superb. Breakfast buffets are something to savour and the evening meals in the restaurant are cooked to perfection. The level of service is great and the courtesy of the staff exemplary and just a pleasant stroll away from downtown. All the reasons to make you want to go back time after time.

The Little American Salt Lake City Hotel is just lovely. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and the bathroom is huge with PLENTY of counter space. We did not stay in the hotel tower but rather one of the two story garden rooms just off the main hotel, and it was perfect and parking very close by. The lobby of the main hotel is gorgeous and employees very kind and helpful.

This hotel is a combination of a hi-rise tower building and a number of rooms located in a 2-story motor hotel format. My room in the motor hotel section was as nice as some $400 hotel rooms in Manhattan. The entire hotel was impeccably clean and the service was top notch. Highly recommended.

The hotel is lovely with beautiful rooms and large bathrooms without being pretentious. They offer a full service restaurant as well as a coffee shop for more casual dining. The hotel provides airport pickup and delivery. Tasteful shops and a nice lobby bar are added attractions.
A little bit of heaven - posted on 04/06/2006
Little America was a great choice for our anniversary. We stayed in one of the Tower rooms and it was big, clean and enjoyable. We had a nice view of downtown Salt Lake and enjoyed it's proximity to downtown restaurants. The rooms were great, the Hotel offers free parking and the food in the cafe was very tasty. The exercise facility was small but adequate. This would be a great choice for couples or for families. We are very happy we chose to go to Little America and wished we could have stayed longer.

Extremely clean room, very professional service, well-mannered staff, great food (I miss the pancakes and ham already), and conveniently located in Salt Lake City. Close to everything important, and safe area. Decently priced. Everything about the hotel says, "Professional".

The rooms are quite nice. However, if you require real service, this is not the place to go. Internet access is limited.

We didn't feel we got our money's worth. Room nice, but just nice. Our requests were not honored and the staff didn't care.

The hotel, grounds, and amenities were all great. Both the indoor/outdoor pool on the second floor of the hotel and the one totally outside were great. The staff was very friendly and customer oriented. The rooms were very large and very nicely decorated. I wish I had a day just to enjoy staying at the hotel!

From the moment I arrived to the minute I left the service was wonderful. Everyone was extremely pleasant & helpful. I believe they were under remodeling, so that was inconvienant.
Family friendly Oasis in downtown SLC - posted on 07/17/2005
Service at Little America is impeccable, from the valet who greets you with a smile, to concierge, front desk, housekeeping, and room service. Management is doing something right because all of these people had genuine smiles and were helpful. The rooms are well furnished, medium sized, and wonderfully quiet. I'll stay again with pleasure.

Great Stay - posted on 06/25/2005
The first thing you notice when you walk into the hotel is the great lobby. Your eyes are feasted on Brass, wood and crystal. The tower rooms are spacious and provide fabulous views of downtown Salt Lake and the Mountains. Furniture and TV could use some renovations though. Our resturaunt experince was fair. Good food at fair prices. The steaks were especially tender. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Fabulous hotel - posted on 03/09/2005
The hotel was fabulous. The only situations I encountered that caused me any concern were 1- the service in the cafe was very slow and 2- the hotel room heater would not turn off requiring me to leave the window open all night. This would not have been a problem but I am a female and the window was facing a dark parking lot , leaving it vulnerable to breakins. NOT GOOD. I asked for assistance from the maid but she did not understand as she did not speak English. There is one issue I'd like to comment on: the taxi services seems to be left to the Bellhop which is appropriate however they do not call the cheapest taxi, they call the most expensive in town. Careful you don't fall into this trap. I suggest you stick with a taxi that has a meter for one thing, for another, stick with UTE, they ended up being the most honest and cheapest.
