Dinner is super, breakfast is too abundant. Service is very attentive, (sometimes a little too, giving me a feeling of embarassment). Rooms: - the refrigerator based on compressor technology is very noisy, based on evaporation should be silent; - quality and number of pillows(2) is limit: Kimpton can do better than the "others"; - room maintenance is irreprochable. Telephone call rates are exaggerated, moreover I feel that paying 9 times 11.37$ (102.33$) for calls without connection is incorrect.

From the proffered goldfish to the wine reception with backrubs to the leopard print bathrobes, this is not the usual corporate hotel. Close to the Salt Palace and Temple Square too.

This place was great! The beds were soft, the rooms were clean and quiet and the staff was attentive. I will definitely return. But, if anyone is listening, please don't tantalize me with four dollar Snickers bars when I am fresh off a plane and starving--that just isn't right.
Favorite SLC Hotel! - posted on 10/20/2004
I travel to Salt Lake City about once a month for business and by far, Hotel Monaco is my favorite. The rooms are lovely and the service is superb. The only thing they're missing is a hot tub or sauna!
