Customer Reviews for Quality Inn Airport Salt Lake City

Old and beaten down - posted on 03/21/2007

Not updated since the Reagan Administration, the rooms are reasonably clean, but well worn. The front walls of the rooms are all glass and face the parking lot, which means you hear every car or truck that passes. Walls are so thin, I could hear the guy above me going to the bathroom. Nice. Only saving grace is free wi-fi.

Not a great night's sleep - posted on 12/24/2006

This hotel LOOKS really great, but it's a surface beauty. Bathroom lightswitch had a short, and had to be left on all the time. Several electrical outlets didn't work at all, so restricted where I could use my laptop. Worst feature -- the drapes were only sheers, not drapes that could be closed, and we faced the well-lit parking lot, so it was bright in the room all night, not to mention noisy due to proximity of the railroad.

Budget - posted on 11/21/2006

This Hotel is OK for travelers trying to stay under a budget, or just overnighting for Airport Layovers. If you plan to stay for any length of time I would recommend something nicer. Old style, one story hotel, very noisy & not the cleanest or best lit. I was afraid my car would be broken into parked on the back side of the building. No free breakfast & everything was fairly outdated. Needs some renovation or value added features.

fine for what it is - posted on 10/30/2006

Excellent value for price--free airport transport and they also took me for free to my next destination. Extremely friendly manager, cheap buffet breakfast. My only complaint is that the maid woke me at 8 to ask if I were staying over--mgmt said they have been trying to address this problem. Parts of hotel are dingy, but for $* who cares? Very clean.

It was a pleasant stay - posted on 09/30/2006

My friend and I were stopping by a night to catch the next day flight. The front desk was thoughtful to help us with our luggages up the stairs. The employee at night was nice enough to offer us a ride to downtown for some food when the restaurant in the property was closed. We like the fact that the bus stop was just right infront of the Inn. It was very convenient for us to ride around the city during the afternoon.

why? - posted on 08/30/2006

I liked the room. All those windows intimidated me, but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I was disappointed when my pre-paid room was pulled up and the first thing the clerk asked me was for my credit card. When I said I thought the room was paid for, he said it is but we need your card in case you break something. He didn't say it was to turn the phone on, or for pay per view movies - he said because I might break something! The stairwells and breezeways were very dirty and trashy.

Uncaring staff - posted on 08/24/2006

It was 100 degreses in Salt Lake City, yet they rented us a section of hotel that they knew air conditioning was not working. We had to leave room at 2am in morning. Staff was very uncaring.

Not Too Bad - posted on 06/28/2006

Have stayed at this location before due to location from airport. Saturday afternoon they hosted extreme fighting tournament, very noisy but ended by dinner. Pool was open and staff freindly. Comp breakfast was $7 and limited.

Wish the pool was filled! - posted on 06/27/2006

Was a great motel for the price. But we were sooo diasapointed that the pool was not filled. That was one of the main reasons we wanted that motel. Other than that it was a nice, clean motel.

Room well maintained: clean and cool. Grounds run down, pool not open, fitness room not cared for (two machines broken), ice machine not working, carpets in halls filth.,

Good Location - posted on 06/06/2006

Located on N Temple, this was conveniently located between the airport and downtown. Access was easy, and several eating choices within walking distance. Front desk not too helpful unless you bug them.

Too noisy - posted on 02/11/2006

Nice staff, ok breakfast, but multiple freight trains in the night, thin walls, doors that have to be slammed to close. Next time I'll try somewhere else.

We called the hotel upon arrival at the airport and they sent a courtesy van to pick us up. The hotel was nice, the people were pleasant, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was $7 the next morning but it was an all you can eat hot buffet with waffles and all.
