Interstate 215 and Interstate 80 are easily accessible from the property. The Salt Palace Convention Center, the Delta Center – the home of the Utah Jazz-, Rose Park Golf Course, Gateway Shopping Mall, the Clark Planetarium and movie theatres are close by. The neighborhood area has a number of cocktail lounges and restaurants. The hotel provides complimentary newspaper on weekdays, airport shuttle, and wireless and wired high-speed Internet in public areas and accommodations. Local calls are also free during the stay.

This functional airport property is conveniently located. Staff won respect of almost all guests. Many guests were satisfied with food at restaurant, airport shuttle and clean spacious accommodations. They felt that the hotel offered good value for money spent. However, a weak signal for Wireless internet; run-down rooms with dirty and worn out carpets, and no A/C; lack of cleanliness in public areas; and noise were major concerns of some guests.
