The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City-City Center comprises 178 one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with separate living and sleeping areas and fully equipped Kitchens. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is ideally suited to the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, evening manager’s receptions, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is within walking distance of the historic Temple Square, Family History Library, Gateway Mall, Crossroads Mall, Capitol Theatre, the Salt Palace Convention Center and the Energy Solutions Arena. There are two meeting rooms available for social or business functions. The larger can accommodate 80 guests.

Frequent visitors to Salt Lake City say this is the best place to stay downtown. The rates are reasonable when you consider all of the extras that are included in the room rate. The suites are spacious, squeaky clean and well equipped. The efficient crew of employees is friendly and responds to problems promptly. Guests in town to watch the Utah Jazz play said it was an easy walk to the stadium. The suites have a fully equipped kitchen with a conventional oven and microwave oven, stovetop, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work desk with high-speed Internet access, fireplace, in-room safe, telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, television with cable movie and news channels, pullout sofa bed, hairdryer, alarm clock and an iron and ironing board.
