It is a very nice hotel. The only problem we had was when we told them we needed 2 beds, they said they couldn't do it at the price quoted.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The facilities were well maintained and always clean. There was small kitchen that even included utensils and dishes. It was exactly what I needed for an extended stay while attending week-long workshop. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The facilities were excellent and exactly what I needed for an extended stay.

Parking was sufficient, but always next to a grass area. In the night, the sprinkling system sprayed water on the cars and left hard water deposits.

The hotel was so much more than we expected. The room was very comfortable, close enough to walk to downtown events, had a hide-a-bed for our children, equipped kitchen, and the breakfast had everything you can imagine and, in itself.

Like staying at an apartment, breakfast was wonderful, service was great.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City-City Center comprises 178 one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with separate living and sleeping areas and fully equipped Kitchens. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is ideally suited to the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, evening managers receptions, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is within walking distance of the historic Temple Square, Family History Library, Gateway Mall, Crossroads Mall, Capitol Theatre, the Salt Palace Convention Center and the Energy Solutions Arena. Frequent visitors to Salt Lake City say this is the best place to stay downtown. The rates are reasonable when you consider all of the extras that are included in the room rate. The suites are spacious, squeaky clean and well equipped. The efficient crew of employees is friendly and responds to problems promptly. Guests in town to watch the Utah Jazz play said it was an easy walk to the stadium. First time visitors said they will stay here again the next time they come to town and will recommend the property to others.
