Stay at the Goldminer’s Daughter and you’ll be able to do just that. This rustic and charming lodge is the place to swap snow stories and meet new friends. The staff is just as friendly as the guests and are eager to welcome you to their humble abode. Although Alta draws huge crowds during the winter months, summer is also a wonderful time to stay at the Goldminer’s.

This is definitely a skier’s lodge. You won’t find a lot of extra fancy frills but what it does provide, it provides well. Its ideal location attracts skiers eager to hit the slopes and crash in bed. The food may not be exquisite but is a great option after a long day on the slopes. Although some thought it strange that there wasn’t an outdoor hot tub the one indoors did a fine job of soothing those muscles. Read our customer reviews?
Goldminer's Daughter Accommodations
Each room at the Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge comes with hairdryers, cable TV and data ports. Although some may think the accommodations are quite simple, they are the perfect place to put up your feet after a fun day of hiking and skiing. Plus, the views from the room are reason enough to come.
Amenities offered
There are an abundance of activities just outside its doors. However, the Goldminer's Daughter Lodge is a great place to just hang out with a crew of friends. The Top of the Lodge Restaurant provides fantastic views of the mountains. Here, you’ll be seated with other guests to ensure you have the chance to meet someone new. The Goldminer’s Saloon is a bit more casual and a great place for pizza. It also has 13 beers on tap. Slopeside Café is another place to meet up with friends over a hot cup of coffee. Goldminer’s Daughter also offers ski rentals and sales, an indoor hot tub as well as a Day Spa, which is a welcomed treat for those aching muscles.
