There was a free continental breakfast that was good but not spectacular and free internet access. There were lots of families staying at this hotel and the staff worked hard at cleaning up after them. There is very nice beach access and is close to everything. The pool was very nice as well but was well used by all the families staying there. My wife and I opted for the beach instead.
Lots of employees that worked at keeping the hotel very clean.

Good value. Nice, direct access to the beach.
It accepted dogs and provided a hot breakfast.
There was no patio furniture and the pool was small.

My wife and I enjoyed very much the hospitality and ease with which we were able to get around in this hotel. The check-in and check-out was good and the rooms were large and very clean.
Convenience & easy to manage.
Dining limited.

This Best Western has easy access to the beach and its rates are very reasonable and compare favorably to its nearby competitors. That is the opinion of travelers to South Padre Island who have stayed here. Most guests had a good time but there were complaints that it was time that the rooms were remodeled and updated. There were good comments about the friendly and efficient team of employees. Several travelers said they would stay here again while others said they would be looking elsewhere the next time they were in this resort area for a property with more modern accommodation.
