The Comfort Inn Alamo / Riverwalk is a few blocks away from the San Antonio River Walk, the Market Square and the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The historical 1878 Bexar County Jail building has been converted into the hotel. This multi-storied property mainly offers non-smoking accommodations. Guests, traveling with their vehicles, need to pay a fee for parking. They can order food from the Mi Tierra Café and Bakery around the clock. The televisions in the rooms air 76 channels for diverse entertainment programs. The hotel accepts plastic money.

This hotel, housed in the historic jail building, offers guest accommodations with all basic facilities. This budget hotel is conveniently located. Most of the guests were happy with clean, cozy and quiet rooms, proximity to tourist attractions, friendly and helpful staff, and complimentary, yummy breakfast. However, a few guests felt walking in the neighborhood areas was not safe.
