Due to my condition, I could not use some of the facilities (pool, sauna, exercise room) but the facilities looked first-rate. The restaurant food was very good but the waitress/hostess chose to have a debate with us about menu substitutions (hurt their tip). Counter staff was knowledgeable about local attractions, very helpful. Overall, an excellent hotel we would visit again.

Atrium lobby with fountain, restaurant and bar - nice surroundings fit the S.A. style.

On crutches at check-in. we were assigned a room far down the hall. Staff should have tried to find a more convenient room for handicapped customer.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. We were so comfortable and felt right at home. The people were very nice and helpful. Our room was also very nice and clean, we really appreciated that.

The 296-room Marriott San Antonio Northwest provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The 11-story, non-smoking hotel is five miles west of San Antonio airport and provides a courtesy shuttle. The property has an atrium lobby with marble floors and nine meeting rooms for social or business functions. The largest, the Sam Houston Ballroom can accommodate 675 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include four golf courses, The Alamo, Riverwalk, Hemisfair Park, Seaworld San Antonio, Six Flags Fiesta Texas theme park, the Spanish Governor's Palace, the San Antonio Zoo and Aquarium and shopping at North Star Mall and the Shops at La Cantera.

Business clients say this hotel is in a good location on the north side of town. The employees here were complemented on being hardworking, attentive and friendly. The rates are reasonable the rooms comfortable and spacious. There were some visitors who said it was time for a facelift. Despite this most customers said they would stay here on future visits to San Antonio and had no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
