Easy to find hotel coming from Sea World and was close enough to downtown area. 15 minutes from Alamo.

Not far from downtown and Sea World.

Access road becomes one-way.

There seemed to always be some kind of law enforcement presence around the hotel though and we saw no problems at all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant was very good and had reasonable rates. We enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms.

AC was not very cool and the bathroom vent fan need repair.

The 74-room Holiday Inn San Antonio Lackland Sea World is located right across from Wilford Hall Hospital on the Lackland Air Force Base and provides quality, affordable accommodation for both the business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee, a morning newspaper and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 100 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the nearby SeaWorld marine park, downtown San Antonio with its famed Riverwalk, the historic Alamo, Six Flags Fiesta Texas theme park and shopping at San Antonio Market Square.

This is a good hotel with squeaky clean and comfortable rooms and an efficient team of employees eager to make everyone feel at home. That is the view of many guests who have stayed at this Holiday Inn. Other plus points here were the reasonable rates, pleasant outdoor swimming pool and the affordable Lilas Restaurant. Several guests said the location is ideal for the Lackland Air Force Base but those wanting to see the sights of San Antonio might want to consider staying elsewhere.
