La Cantera is a perfect place for golf getaway. Palmer course is wonderful course that has many elevation changes and gives great views of the resort and the entire S.A. city. The pool area is nice. Be sure to eat at Francescas at sunset, great view.

La Cantera Resort is a breathtaking place to visit. The staff was accomodating and helpful. The room was lovely and shops nearby were fabulous.

The hotel was selected by the conference or else we would not have chosen it. Did not live up to the Westin reputation. No hillside view on check-in as promised. Very isolated; $30 cab from airport and $40 cab to the city; no shuttle. Restaurants on site expensive and not very good. Shower mildly warm; beds good. Nice lobby.

Reserved a room with a king bed and city view. When we arrived, they were "out" of rooms with king beds. We got stuck with a room with 2 beds, no city view. To top all that off, the balcony doors would not open. They moved us to another room wih 2 beds, and a view of trees. Only thing good about this room was the view of the sun coming up. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Why bother making reservations, if you don't get what you reserved!

We were looking forward to staying at this hotel, however, we were extremely disappointed. The bell service was poor. The bell man who took our luggage had a "I don't care" attitude and lost our luggage. We had to wait for 2 hours until they finally found it in another guest's room. All we got was a weak "sorry", and that wasn't even from the bell man who lost our luggage. The bathroom wasn't even that clean, particularly the floors. The bed was too firm with lumpy pillows. Definitely not "heavenly", as they call it. Definitely not worth it!!

Good facilities. Pool area particularly attractive. Key room features (beds, shower, etc.) very good but room opened onto empty concrete slab ... not very inviting. Internet charge a bit tacky considering room prices. Not worth it for quick inquiry. No hotel info in room. Could have saved money had I booked directly.

Kids loved it , the pools are fantastic. Rooms were small , but great , we did have to change rooms due to a leak from empty connecting room , but it was arranged really quickly . Kids buffett is good , but it didnt seem family friendly in the resteraunt. Shuttle to six flags , views could be better , we got the tennis court, and then the empty courtyard, but all in all a great place. Well worth it. (if your an USAA member a lot cheaper)

The hotel is quite attractive. The staff is not overly friendly or helpful. Summer is probably not a good time for adults - far too many families with small children running up and down the hallways.

I recently stayed here..suite was facing parking lot..then moved to view of the roof after ...service was poor in every way..checked out after 1 night...would not recommend
