The 62-room Super 8 Motel San Antonio is six miles from San Antonio International Airport and 11 miles from downtown. The three storey hotel operates a complementary airport shuttle. Other items included in the room rates are expanded cable TV channels, a continental breakfast, high speed Internet access, parking and local telephone calls. The motel caters for the budget-minded business and leisure traveler. The property is 10 miles from San Antonio Zoo, 12 miles from the Alamo Dome and San Antonio Riverwalk, and 25 miles from Sea World and Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Sadly nobody had anything nice to say about this property. Hopefully the management will read this and other reviews and put the Super back into the motel that is presently getting nothing but negative comments. Major problems are things don’t work – TVs and Internet – and the air conditioners need fixing so they don’t keep you awake all night. All that is needed is some smiles at reception and a major maintenance program. Read our customer reviews?

Super 8 Motel - San Antonio/Airport Accommodations

All rooms come with air conditioners and high speed Internet access. There is a choice of either one king-sized bed or two double beds. Amenities include a refrigerator, cable television with movie channels, and IDD telephone. There are larger rooms capable of sleeping four people.

The motel has an outdoor swimming pool. The complementary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are restaurants and lounges nearby. The 24-hour front desk provides copying and fax services, can arrange car rentals and has information on area attractions. One of the most popular is Six Flags Fiesta which is a four part themed park: the Mexican town of Los Festivals, the German village of Spassburg, the 1920 cowboy boom town of Crackaxle Canyon, and the small Texas town of Rockville during the golden age of rock and roll.
