The Hyatt Regency San Antonio has 632 rooms and is directly across from the historic Alamo on the south bank of the Riverwalk with great views of old San Antonio. Impressive feature of the property is the fact that the river cascades through the 16-storey atrium lobby. The location is ideal for leisure travelers putting all the shopping and dining attractions of Riverwalk within easy walking distance. For business and social functions the hotel has 40,000 square feet of meeting space and is only two blocks from the San Antonio Convention Center

Former guests here were delighted with the accommodation, both in quality and size. The hotel claims to have the largest sleeping accommodation of all downtown properties. Hyatt Regency San Antonio Accommodations

Rooms and suites have views of the historic Alamo and offer a choice of one king-size or two double beds. Amenities include a work desk with leather chair, Internet access, cable TV with movie channels and in house pay per-view-movies. The bathrooms have granite tops and hairdryer. Dual line IDD telephones have voicemail and there is a coffee bar, minibar and iron and ironing board. Room service is available from 6am until midnight.

Dining options include Chaps Restaurant, with continental cuisine and the River Terrace Lounge for drinks and snacks. The 24-hour front desk offers currency exchange and has safe deposit boxes. The hotel’s spa is located in the hotel atrium lobby and there is a heated rooftop swimming pool and whirlpool.

From San Antonio International Airport (12 miles): Take 281 S. which will turn into I-37 S. near the downtown area. Follow I-37 S. and exit Houston Street. Turn right on Houston. Proceed five blocks to Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and continue down three blocks. Hotel is on the right. (Broadway changes names to Losoya Street).
