Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott San Antonio Downtown Market Square in San Antonio Texas

I like Fairfield Inns as a general rule and stay in them as often as I can assuming the price is right. The one major improvement that could be made is to have a front desk staff that's a little more friendly and attentive. Having said that, Fairfields are far better than Marriott Courtyards in my opinion.

Our stay at the Fairfield Inn was excellent. The room was clean and the continental breakfast was very good. The selection for the breakfast was excellent and the entire help in the hotel was extremely friendly. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again. The hotel is also very centrally located within walking distance to many of the interesting sites in San Antonio.

What a friendly, understanding and professional staff. We were trapped by all of the flooding and could not get out of San A. The staff made us feel right at home and worked with us to make the best of the situation. They really deserve an award!
