The 110-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott San Antonio Downtown at Market Square provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is two blocks from Market Square. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one meeting room available for business of social functions that can accommodate 40 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include two golf courses, the Alamo, RiverCenter Mall, Alamodome and Convention Center, the San Antonio Missions, Brackenridge Park and Zoo, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Sea World of Texas.

The friendly staff and great location, a short trolley ride from Riverwalk, were the major attractions of this Marriott property. All the guestrooms, and 36 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, pullout sofa bed, television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, CD player, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and IDD telephone. The suites have the added benefit of a refrigerator and microwave oven. Video games and players are available for rent.
