The pet-friendly Residence Inn By Marriott San Antonio Market Square comprises 95 suites each with a kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is close to San Antonio’s major attractions including the Riverwalk, the Alamo, Market Square, Convention Center, San Antonio Zoo, Rivercenter Mall, Museo Alameda, and the AT&T Arena. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’s reception on midweek evenings with a light dinner, beer, wine and sodas, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property has meeting space with room for groups up to 100 in a stand-alone building called The Meeting Place. Corporate offices nearby include AT&T, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas, Inc. and Boeing Aerospace.

Visitors to San Antonio say this is a wonderful place to stay. The suites are spacious and the kitchens worked well for many families. They say they prepared several meals and saved money on dining out. The large variety of items available at the breakfast buffet impressed many clients. Words of advice from former guests: Make sure your room does not overlook the dumpsters. It can noisy in the early morning when they are emptied. All of the suites have a fireplace and a kitchen with a microwave oven, stovetop, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work desk with high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail, pullout sofa bed, cable television with movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, VCR player, hairdryer and an iron and ironing board.
