Excellent location, well lighted, just a wonderful place to stay.

This 123-room Hampton Inn is located in the northwest part of San Antonio near the Lackland Air Force Base and within a few minutes of major shopping malls and amusement parks. Items included with the room rate at this four-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet or breakfast to-go bag, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a newspaper on weekday mornings, in-room coffee and parking. Area landmarks and attractions include SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas both a 10-minute drive from the hotel, San Antonios famed River Walk, the Alamo, the San Fernando Cathedral, the Witte Museum, the Alamodome in St. Paul's Square, the Japanese Tea Gardens and shopping at the Ingram Mall or the El Mercado Mexican marketplace.

This is an older Hampton Inn but it is well maintained and offers good value. That is the opinion of several regular clients of this hotel who say the rooms here are comfortable, clean and well equipped. There were good reviews too for the cheerful crew of employees who had good knowledge of the local area and knew the best places to eat and shop. Families enjoyed the location, close to many attractions, and said they had no problem recommending the property to others.
