Hotel is located back from the freeway behind another hotel which makes it nice and quiet. The indoor pool seemed to be popular but I did not get a chance to try it on my short stay. Great Continental breakfast which includes make-your-own waffles; whole, low-fat and fat free milk choices; and the standard continental breakfast fare of muffins, breads, fruits, coffee, juices and tea. Coffee maker in rooms along with iron and board which I did use.

This was great value for the money - better than some of the alleged three stars I have stayed at - very friendly professional staff.

The 120-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott San Antonio Airport North Star Mall provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The five-story, non-smoking hotel is minutes away from the airport and operates a complimentary shuttle on weekdays from 6am until 10pm. Other items included in the room rate are an expanded continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7.
