The Hyatt Regency Hill Country is a great resort for families, as it offers numerous amenities for adults and children, together and separate. Among the lavish pool area, the lazy river and “beach” get high marks, as does the 18 and up pool. Free nighttime s’mores and hayrides will appeal to a kid of any age. Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa Accommodations

With a Texas ranch house design, the hotel’s 500 newly renovated guest rooms feature Hyatt’s Grand Bed, with plush pillows, soft sheeting, down blankets and a pillow-top mattress. Room amenities include refrigerators, coffee makers, cable TV channels, high-speed Internet access, safes, work desks and individual climate controls.

Hotel is approximately 20 miles from the San Antonio International Airport (SAT). From SAT, take I-410 West and follow it as it turns into I-410 South. Exit onto Hwy. 151 West/Sea World (exit 9A). Continue on Hwy. 151 for about 2.5 miles, then take the Westover Hills Boulevard exit and take your first available right (at the windmill) onto Hyatt Resorts Drive and continue straight.

From downtown San Antonio, take either I-35 or I-37 South to Hwy. 90 West (Del Rio exit). Continue on Hwy. 90 until you reach the exit for Hwy. 151 West/Sea World. Once on Hwy. 151, continue for approximately 8.5 miles and then exit at Westover Hills Boulevard. Turn right onto Westover Hills Boulevard and then take the first right onto Rogers Road. Go about a quarter of a mile and the entrance to the resort is on the left.
