Overall, it was a very good deal. It was not in the middle of the attractions, however it was close. It was a very short carried away. The breakfast was great but get there early because it only takes one day for all the travelers to figure it out. The room was big enough for my family of six(2 adults, a 13 yr old girl, a 9 yr old boy, and twin 5 yr old) to spread out. I would recommend this hotel mainly to traveling families.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and told us about the trolley and made sure we had a fair bit of information to enjoy our stay in San Antonio. I felt a bit unsure about safety walking back from the trolley stop at night but did not meet or see anyone to worry about.

Big room, huge beds.

I was unsure about security for vehicles.

Once I arrived at the hotel I was given a room that I did not reserve. I reserved 2 kings with sofa bed and I was given 1 king w/sofa bed.

The rooms were very clean and the a/c worked great.

The 66 all suites Best Western Alamo Suites is one mile from the historic Alamo and museum and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both the vacationer and business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this three-story all interior corridor hotel are a deluxe continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee, a newspaper on weekday mornings and parking. The single rooms here have one king sized bed and the double rooms have two king-size beds. The property is close to Riverwalk, Market Square, the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, the Tower of Americas, Alamodome and two theme parks - Sea World and Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

There is a $10 charge for rollaway beds but no charge for cribs.

This popular hotel was the Comfort Suites Downtown and now as a Best Western it gets great reviews for its spacious and well equipped rooms and an excellent manager and team of friendly and efficient employees. Those who have stayed here say do not be put off by the location among older commercial buildings. Inside the hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean. Most visitors say they will definitely return to this property on future visits to San Antonio and highly recommend the property to fellow travelers.
