This is definitely worth very penny. The hotel seems to be brand new. All rooms are accessible only within the hotel. Almost like a small scale three stars hotel. It will take 30 minutes or so to travel to/from Corpus Christi. But for the price and the value you get, no complaint at all. Go for it.

Brand new and clean and very good price.

It is a bit far from Corpus Christi.

We checked in, someone using computer in our assigned room. Our friends got a room that had not been cleaned yet. Once that was resolved no other problems. Convenient location, away from the hustle and bustle of corpus christi. Right on main highway. Very clean. Would stay there again.

Very clean and food at breakfast buffet was good.

Check in was a bit disorganized.

Easy to find. Easy to get where you need to go. Staff was very accommodating, especially with the canine guest. Continental breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Outside noise was a minimum.

Price and convenient to get to and from.

This sleek and modernly designed hotel makes a retreat that is truly to look forward to. Best Western Tropic Inn is conveniently located near the intersection of Highways 77 and 44, as well as just minutes from Corpus Christi. A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room; however as an alternative you can also walk to the filling Joe Cottons barbeque restaurant. After a long day, you may appreciate having access to a relaxing cocktail bar which features a big screen TV. The Spanish speaking staff is of service 24 hours, enabling late express check in/out.
