Near the Irving hotel are a multitude of major corporations such as DHL, Citigroup, and Astrazeneca Pharmaceuticals, and over 20 restaurants nearby. It has a multitude of recreational options and amenities such as a suite Shop, indoor pool and Jacuzzi®, fitness center, a big screen plasma TV, and a game room featuring a pool table. They offer breakfast every morning and also Monday through Thursday between 5:00pm and 7:00pm they serve a complimentary light meal and beer, wine and soft drinks. Business guests can also make use of the well equipped complimentary executive business center.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and well equipped. The amenities are ample for recreation and it is also well equipped for business travelers. Complaints have been made that rooms are not sound proof and that breakfast left something to be desired. Some quests experienced surly, unfriendly, and unwelcoming staff in the lobby but others praise staff for friendly service so that unfriendly service is not necessarily customary. This hotel features 77 suites that include spacious studio and one and two bedroom residential-style suites with separate living and sleeping area and sofa sleeper. The suites are equipped with two TV's, video cassette player or on-demand movies, complimentary High-Speed Internet Access and phones with data ports in each room. Our fully equipped kitchens include a full-size refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker.

From Dallas Love Field Airport Distance from hotel: 8 mi. Drive time: 15 min. Directions: Turn right on Mockingbird Lane and go South to Hwy. 183 to the 183 and 114 split. Take the Hwy. 114 split to Freeport Pkwy., turn left, go under the overpass, take a left at the light. Bear right on the Service Rd. and HW is on the left.
