Very clean, very comfortable, and the courtyard makes one forget they are in a large metropolitan area.

The little touches that made our stay comfortable.

The breakfast bar was not advertised as costing extra, and it was a bit pricey.

The 134-room Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Las Colinas provides quality accommodation for both business and leisure traveler and is minutes from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and the city of Irving, which is home to Las Colinas Studios. Films made here include JFK and Robocop and studio tours are available. The four-story, non- smoking hotel has two meeting rooms for social or business functions. The larger can accommodate 50 guests. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and a morning newspaper. There are eight golf courses within easy driving distance of the property. Downtown Dallas is a 20-minute drive. Area attractions include the Fort Worth Stockyards, the Six Flags Over Texas theme park, Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys and horse racing at Lone Star Park.

All the guestrooms, and 13 suites, have a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, pull-out sofa bed, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. The suites have the added benefit of a washer-dryer, refrigerator and microwave oven. .

According to former visitors to this hotel, the staff excels in making you feel welcome and providing additional goodies. There is always snacks, fruit and hot and cold drinks available in the lobby.
