Customer Reviews for Inn at the Ballpark Luxury Hotel

5 Star Luxury - posted on 08/06/2005

Inn At The Ballpark is a fabulous hotel. I stayed in it when it was just a few months old. Service was excellent. Staff was excellent. Best of all the decor was luxury and 5 star. The rooms were wonderful- equipped with 300 thread count comforters, flat screen tv's, Aveda brand products, CD player- the best. I would stay at this hotel anytime. This hotel is equivalent to the 4 seasons.

Excellent Hotel - posted on 05/23/2005

This was the cleanest, nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the $20.00 charge for parking, but I was warned ahead of time. The rooms are neat, clean, simple. Enjoyed everything about the stay!

Best stay in Houston - posted on 04/30/2005

Everything about this hotel is wonderful, especially it's proximity to MinuteMaid Park. The rooms are well appointed and the public area is a great place to meet for a little socializing.

Watch Your Bill - posted on 10/28/2004

Ok. This hotel is excellent. A couple things to remember. Book a room above the fourth floor so you do not have to hear the lobby/bar noise if you retire before midnight. Second, be prepared for the $20.00 per night parking charge. Third, watch your final bill carefully. The hotel attempted to charge me twice.

Great place to stay for a baseball week-end - posted on 04/09/2007

I had my law school graduation party in the Fenway room and stayed 2 nights at the hotel. My brother had his engagement party in the Yankee room. Everything was awesome both times we've used their meeting rooms. The staff catered to our every need, was courteous, and efficient. The hotel has a charming baseball theme and is perfect for a night after or before a ballgame at Minute Maid Park. The bar stays open late and the staff is awesome. The room service is fast and delicious.

GOOD PLACE TO STAY - posted on 06/27/2006

I WAS IN ON BUSINESS FOR 2 DAYS. THE LOCATION TO THE FREEWAYS AND BALLPARK ARE GREAT. WE HAD A SUITE AND IT WAS A GOOD SIZE ROOM FOR 2 OF US. THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. WE HAD BREAKFAST IN THE RESTAURANT LOBBY AND IT WAS HORRIBLE. 2 EGGS ANY WAY YOU WANT FOR $12? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WERE THEY GOLDEN EGGS? THEY WERE UNDERCOOKED AND THE BUFFET FOOD WAS COLD AND HAD BEEN SITTING FOR A WHILE.

Not for Business Travelers - posted on 04/26/2006

I was given the choice of an atrium room or a smoking room at check in. Little did I know that the atrium room meant I would be kept up until 1:30am by the bar patrons. I asked about switching rooms, but was told they had none available, though I was given a new room at 6am the next morning as I left for the office. Hotel is well appointed, but, if you're not an out to all hours of the morning kind of a person, make sure you don't get put in an atrium room!
