Alden is a popular business hotel located in business and legal districts of Houston. Many travelers were happy with courteous and helpful staff, bar, restaurant, clean cozy rooms and marble bathrooms. However, strong foul smell probably of sewer was a major concern of several visitors. Some of them also grumbled about wet carpets, cheap furniture, sub-standard room service, small dimly lit rooms, poor bathroom layout, and overpriced parking and room service.
