This hotel and its staff was a five star. Everyone was friendly, the rooms were large and clean, we walked to day activities and night life. We swam in the lovely pool. We ate the wonderful breakfast. Everything about this hotel was fantastic.

Everything about this Hotel exceeded my expectations!!

I can not find anything wrong with this Hotel!

The hotel was very clean and had all of the features I expect (wireless internet, free continental breakfast). The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that there is no free parking, and the parking is ridiculously expensive--$17 for one night.

With a warm, helpful staff available twenty-four hours a day and comfortable, non-smoking rooms, the Residence Inn by Marriott Houston Downtown will make business and leisure guests alike feel right at home. This conveniently located hotel is walking distance or a free shuttle ride fron the Minute Maid Park, the Convention Center and the Theatre Districts, as well as a short Metro Light Rail ride to the Reliant Center and Museum District. The downtown area also offers a variety of dining choices. When guests are not exploring the area, the spacious, fully appointed rooms are large enough to accommodate extended stays and have regular maid service. The staff are helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure every visitor has the best possible experience. If you are planning a vacation or business trip to the area, this is one hotel to check out.
