The 90-room Comfort Inn Downtown is close to the Houston Aquarium and provides budget priced accommodation for both leisure and business travelers. Items included with the room rate are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a newspaper on weekday mornings, in-room coffee and parking. Area landmarks and attractions include the Space Center Houston, Bayou Place entertainment complex, the George R. Brown Convention Center, Six Flags theme park, SplashTown water park, Reliant Stadium, Memorial Park Golf Course, the Sam Houston Race Park and shopping at the Galleria Mall. The George Bush Intercontinental Airport is 20 miles from the hotel.

This Comfort Inn gets more negative reviews than positive comments. Many guests were disappointed with their stay here because of the location – which is some distance from downtown – and poor service and rundown amenities. We give is the 50-50 rating. YES, if your budget can’t be stretched but NO is you are looking for the slight hint of luxury and want prompt and efficient service.
