The Hilton University of Houston hotel, located in the center of the University of Houston premises, is known for hospitality education, fine dining and unrivalled service. On Command video, voicemail and newspaper are complimentary. Baggage storage, gift shop, elevators and safety deposit boxes are a big plus. To keep many guests at the hotel, there are two restaurants and three different types of accommodations: guest rooms, suites and executive rooms. The hotel, a fifteen-minute drive from Houston Hobby Airport, is convenient to Convention Center, museum district, NASA, business district, downtown and freeways.

This no-frills hotel has everything for an enjoyable stay. Guests had a mix opinion about everything. Some of them were satisfied with renovated hallways, sewing kits, beds, clean comfy rooms and helpful staff. However, others were disappointed with small dated dirty rooms, tiny televisions, paper thin walls, cold showers, slow service at restaurant, lack of cleanliness, sewer smell in the lobby, poor parking and rude staff. Eric’s Lounge has a perfect setting and menu to unwind. The health club next to Hilton features state-of-the-art conditioning and exercise equipment. The onsite business conveniences include fax, photocopier and audio/visual equipment. The largest meeting room covers space of 6237 square feet.
