Overall the hotel was a relaxing and enjoyable experience for me and my family. I received good customer service from the staff there and anything I needed they provided for me. I also enjoyed taking the shuttle to the museum.

I enjoyed having a weight room at the hotel and also the pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing.

I did not like having to pay for parking every time I left the hotel so I ended up getting my vehicle valet parked.

Room was small but comfortable. Pool was warm. People were friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Best cheeseburger ever in bar and grille restaurant.

Very convenient to rail service for stadium show.

Air conditioner/heater very loud, only blew cold air.

The lady who checked me in was super pleasant and professional. The room was very quiet, and comfortable. The metro rail was located outside the front door.

The staff was extremely courteous and professional.

The parking is in an adjoining garage that is scary at night.

The 365-room Marriott Houston Medical Center is in the Texas Medical Center and connected to the medical schools, Methodist Hospital, Scurlock and Smith Towers with a climate-controlled skyway. The pet-friendly, non-smoking hotel is steps away from Houston's MetroRail, which provides inexpensive transportation to Reliant Stadium, home of the Houston Texans, the citys museum district, Hermann Park Zoo, Midtown, Downtown and the theater district. The 26-story, full service hotel has 14 meeting rooms for social or business functions. The largest can accommodate 700 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the Galleria shopping complex, several golf courses, Minute Maid Park, home of Houston Astros, the Contemporary Arts Museum and the Miller Outdoor Theater.

The location in the center of the Houston Medical Center is the major attraction of this hotel. It is so much part of the center that several clients commented that the hotel lobby has a clinical ambience. Many former clients said they received helpful advice from an attentive and efficient team of employees. Couples said it was a quieter location for a weekend getaway but said there were better hotels in the city if you come here for sightseeing. Other good points were the clean, well-decorated rooms with comfortable beds, and wireless Internet access.
