Not worth it - posted on 03/30/2007
Hello! I had a long lay over in Houston, about 22 hours and needed a place to stay. I decided to spend the extra $$$ to stay at this hotel due to the location. This place is outdated and overpriced. Dial-up internet is available. lol

I hate that just because a hotel is connected, or close to an airport, they feel they can slack on everything else and still charge what they do. The hotel is in need of renovation. Last time, however, I was in a newly renovated room and it was nice. Most of the hotel is still not completed though. The food is expensive and not good. Service is friendly but not fast or exceptional. Although you cannot get any more close to IAH airport. The Terminal train is on the bottom floor.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and find the North tower is the best place to stay. Last stay I was in the South tower and found the room needs updating, TV very small and hallway/elevators very noisy. Great location to catch a flight, as you can take the underground tram to the terminal. Ate in the downstairs restaurant and found the food to be fair at best for the price.

Great Hotel , Confusing , small rooms , price is good. The bar service is great upstairs, but the Ground floor grill servers were NOT good. Greeters were great, loved kids
