Beautiful 4-star hotel amidst woods and hike/bike trails in the middle of Houston! Service was impeccable-all our needs were met. 3 beautiful pools, access to exclusive health club and 2 miles from Galleria. We've traveled all over the country and this is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Food is pricey but it's a 4-star hotel. Spa right next door was a bonus. Rooms were beautiful, bed was absolutley comfortable, maid service great. The fireplace in hotel lobby was a great place to relax in front of--it was HUGE!We'll stay here next time we're in Houston!

We enjoyed the hotel the new pools were great. Being a older hotel we found the walls to be thin, making the hotel noisy

I have stayed in many, many hotels and this had the poorest service I have ever received. While the grounds and pool areas were beautiful, I found the hotel unacceptable in the areas of service. The restaurant staff is slow, the wait for a drink at the pool even slower and then after waiting over an hour and a half, I gave up on the salad I ordered from the pool's restaurant! The hotel was crowded due to it being a helath club and I found the club members were treated far better than hotel guests. I won't be returning and I don't recommend this hotel.

We didn't get the room we paid for, then they found absolutely everything to charge you for. Including a $20 fee per person to use the indoor pool showed in the pictures. The rooms are filled with candy,sodas, snacks, and bottled waters. You are not informed that they are $4 for each you consume until you leave. No free parking! You have to pay $10 to just park your own car or pay $20 to valet overnight. A real disapointment considering the amount you pay. We won't be returning.
