The 64-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Houston I-45 North provides inexpensive accommodation for the budget-minded business or leisure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking property is close to the corporate offices of Dupont, Praxair, IBM, CTI, and Daimler-Chrysler. Items included with the room rate are an expanded continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include three golf courses, the Galleria shopping complex, the Great Southeast Equestrian Center, NASA Space Center, Houston’s theater and museum districts, Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros and Reliant Park, home of the Houston Texans.

The attractive indoor swimming pool is one of the main attractions of this inexpensive inn. The property has a good location – near major companies, close to the expressways, and within walking distance of good restaurants and entertainment. Hopefully earlier complaints about a disorganized front desk were spotted by management and things are now functionally properly. It is hard to find comparable accommodation for less money in the area. And if you can eat well at the complimentary breakfast buffet is could prove to be a real bargain. Read our customer reviews?

All the guestrooms have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, IDD telephone with data ports, refrigerator, coffee and tea making facilities, cable television with news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, iron and ironing board, alarm clock and a hairdryer.

The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several restaurants close to the inn including a Hooters, Marco’s Mexican Restaurant and an Outback Steakhouse.
