This hotel exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. We would definitely stay there again. Granite counters, flat panel TV, quiet surroundings, wonderful experience.

Convenient location, clean facilities and room, kind staff members, and cheap price with free Wi-Fi were great. But, it seems better for business travelers, not for leisure or family vacationers. The most disappointing fact to me was they don't heat the pool and don't have a whirl pool, even though their web homepage says they do.

Kind staff members, clean room, free Wi-Fi were impressive.

The 197-room Courtyard by Marriott Houston Brookhollow caters mainly to business clients but has facilities equally suited to the leisure traveler. The pet-friendly property is seven miles from downtown Houston and provides free parking and high-speed Internet access, items for which most downtown hotels make an additional charge. The three-story, non-smoking hotel offers happy-hour priced cocktails and complimentary hors d'oeuvres Monday through Thursday evenings in the lobby. Those who have stayed here said it was hard to find anything to complain about. The accommodation was clean, the beds very comfortable, the rates reasonable, and the employees made that extra effort to insure a pleasant stay. Frequent visitors to Houston said staying here was less expensive that being downtown where you had to pay at least $20 a night for parking. There were some complaints from light sleepers that the property is close to busy roads and not too far from railroad tracks. Most clients, however, said they would stay at this property on future visits to Houston and had no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
