This is a reasonably clean hotel with fresh interior paint. Free breakfast. Close to busy I-10 Freeway. Spartan, older LQ. Basic needs for the traveler.

Quick check in, clean rooms and
comfortable bed.

Noise from freeway, mattress need replaced.

It's not LaQuinta's fault, but the entire I-10/Sam Houston Toll way interchange area is in the middle of a 6-year reconstruction and it is a mess. According to Goggle Maps, the 1.9 mile drive to my client should take 3 minutes, but it took between 10 and 15 and the return trip about a half-hour. Next time I will choose an area in the opposite direction from this client, Even if it's a longer but quicker commute.

Microwave and mini-fridge.

Great for a solo business travel not really for family with kids, fine for a couple.

Fairly clean.

Our room rate not really a savings, and our room was in the back away from good outdoor lighting felt unsafe.

The pet-friendly La Quinta Wilcrest is less than a mile from the Hermann Memorial Medical Center and comprises 172 affordable rooms equally suitable for the business or pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story hotel are a Bright Side Breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee and parking. There are two rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 50 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include Youth Baseball USA, the Bear Creek Park and Soccer Complex, Westside Tennis Club, the Johnson Space Center and shopping at the Galleria and Katy Mills Outlet Mall.

This is not an upscale hotel but visitors to Houston who have stayed at this La Quinta say the rates are very reasonable. The rooms are nicely appointed and the property is in an excellent location in Houstons Entergy Corridor. The cheerful staff was helpful and the entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Several clients said they had no complaints and they would certainly stay here again.
