The pet-friendly Comfort Suites Near the Galleria comprises 62 affordably priced suites designed for both the vacationer and the business travelers. Items included with the room rate are a Savory Starts breakfast, wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the property, local telephone calls, in-room coffee, a copy of USA Today and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions. The property is a short drive from The Galleria mall, the fourth largest mall in the U.S. with more than 375 stores, restaurants and an ice rink. Other area landmarks and attractions include the Minute Maid Park ballpark, Reliant Park, the George R. Brown Convention Center and the Greenway Plaza business park. The William P. Hobby Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport are both a 25-minute drive from the hotel.

Sadly this Comfort Suites does not get all good reviews. Several visitors here were disappointed with the housekeeping and complained about spasmodic Internet access. We give it the YES rating thanks to its reasonable rates, well equipped suites and good location close to many of Houston’s entertainment, shopping and business districts.
