The Ramada Limited Galveston, lending itself to nice views of the Gulf of Mexico, is within walking distance of downtown. Cruise Terminal, Convention Center, the Galveston Tourist Information Center, Steward Beach, West Beach, East Beach, Porretto beach, Galveston Beach, Seawolf Park and Schlitterbahn are minutes away from the hotel. Local calls, high-speed wireless Internet, parking, a copy of USA Today and continental breakfast are complimentary. But, you have to try nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner. The front desk offers safe deposit boxes for valuables; and toiletries for convenience.

This no-frills hotel offers more than a good night’s sleep. However, a number of visitors were completely disappointed with mold on doors, missing tiles, stairwell reeking of urine, dirty rooms and bathrooms, filthy pool, cockroaches, poor quality key cards, slow and unprofessional staff and mal-functioning AC. Actual rooms did not match the pictures displayed on the hotel website. Only some guests were satisfied with basic clean rooms, breakfast, enough parking and service. Read our customer reviews?
