After calling the 1-800 numbers to ask about rooms, I was afraid of my choice. The Hilton 1-800 operator was very snobby. However, the staff on site in Galveston was great. We received a room with a balcony and gulf view, which was beyond my expectations. Although the room was a little rundown and could use sprucing up, it was fine for one night and my family enjoyed the view very much.

While this is probably 3 start hotel it had the rooms of a two star hotel. Disappointed being it was a Hilton property. The beds were like what you would find in a 2 star hotel.

Staff did come by to look at it and left a note that a new unit would have to be installed.

Friendly staff, good location, fast service.

The rooms were small, on the 1st floor, ac didn't work, no choice of beds-double.
