For travelers looking to stay in the El Paso area for a week or longer, this extended stay hotel might be the right choice for you. There are special considerations when choosing long-term lodging however that will affect your trip. Most importantly, these rooms are set up like apartments. You have separate areas for living, working, cooking and sleeping. You have more sitting furniture than in a traditional hotel room, and more appliances. You're also expected to take more of a role in your own cleaning. Unlike a traditional hotel, extended stay lodging cleans a room once thoroughly every seven days, with towels and toiletries replenished twice per week. Not much has been said about this Extended StayAmerica. That could mean good or bad things, but mainly there's the feeling that lodgers might be indifferent. Long-term solutions don't always have the glitz and glam of a vacation or conference hotel, so experiences aren't always outstanding enough to rave about. Reviews did state that the El Paso hotel might be dingy or outdated, cleaning issues were a problem for some people, sometimes features in the room didn't work the right way and neither management nor corporate seemed to respond in a thoughtful way. The front desk is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and provides lodgers with everything from dish soap and shampoo to mail service and directions to local attractions. Cleaning services wont be a problem for the traveler who don't enjoy the distraction of every day maid service, but guests who like to live life on the pampered side, there are two types of cleaning services that may be requested for a fee. Full service includes vacuuming, and changing the sheets, while a Refresh sticks to switching out towels, garbage and replenishing toiletries.
