The room was nice if not spacious. It had a kitchen which was useless to us. This is a "suite" hotel, so they don't make up the room every day, which is annoying. There was no free breakfast, which is getting to be standard in two-star hotels. These "suite" hotels need to be put in a different category. I would never choose one for a one or two-day stay. There was no one at the desk to handle checkout at 8:30 AM!

Accommodations
The suites come with a separate living area, fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, microwave oven, stovetop, coffeemaker and cutlery and crockery, a work area with high-speed wireless Internet access with a $4.99 per-stay charge, two-line telephone with voicemail, television with cable news and movie channels, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.
Amenities offered
The front office is open Monday through Friday from 6.30am until 8pm, on Saturday from 9am until 3pm and on Sunday from noon until 7pm and can help with copy and fax services. Incoming mail, faxes and packages are delivered directly to guest rooms at the end of each business day. There is a guest laundry on-site. One full housekeeping service is provided for guests staying seven or more nights. Additional cleaning is available for a reasonable charge and towel exchange is available at the front desk for guests staying one to six nights. There are no meals served here but there are numerous restaurants nearby including a Benihana of Tokyo Steakhouse, a Black-Eyed Pea and a Denny's.

This is not the most popular extended-stay hotel in Dallas but the majority of the guests who stayed here were delighted with the inexpensive pricing and fully equipped suites. There were some minor moans that housekeeping could do a better job and a few mores smiles from the front desk would have been appreciated. Despite this several clients said they would stay at this Homestead again on future visits to this great Texas city.
