The 130 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Central Expressway is located in one of the largest medical districts in Dallas and half a mile from the North Park Shopping Center. The three-story, pet-friendly property provides free transportation within a five-mile radius. Other items included in the room rate are a breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a nightly social hour and a weekly Texas-style barbecue. The non-smoking inn is half a mile from the city’s DART rail system enabling a quick journey to SMU or the Dallas Convention Center. All the suites come with a fully equipped kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas.

The prices are reasonable, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly and it is an easy 30-minute drive to the airport. All the suites come with a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and conventional oven, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, toaster, dishwasher, coffeemaker and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a work desk with high-speed Internet access, ergonomic chair, pullout sofa bed, cable television with movie channels, pay-per-view movies, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a two-line telephone with voicemail. Some suites have a fireplace.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. The complimentary continental breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several places to eat nearby including a Cheesecake Factory, Dave and Busters and Red Hot and Blue. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. There is a coin-operated laundry, vending machines, a picnic area with a barbecue grill and a fax and copying machine available for guest use. The inn also provides a grocery shopping service.
