Thought I was paying for location, very pleased to find out we got a large, clean room as well.
Great location and good breakfast.
Toilet paper holder kept coming loose.

This hotel - Comfort Suites, North Padre Island, Corpus Christi - is very nice and clean. It does not smell of mildew. This is remarkable considering that it is across the road from the beach. (Across the road, on the beach, the Holiday Inn-Sun Spree Resort,does smell of mildew.) It is very close to beach access point.
We enjoyed the breakfast. However there was not enough room for the guest to eat.
We were let to believe that this hotel was on the beach at North Padre Island. In actuality it was across the street from the beach.

This is a great Comfort Suites with good access to the beach. That is the opinion of many guests who have stayed at this Corpus Christi hotel. They say it is more expensive than its sister properties in town but the additional money spent is well worthwhile. The suites here are well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The cheerful crew of employees gets good reviews for its helpful service and excellent knowledge about the best places to shop and dine.
