This Rodeway Inn is a former Clarion, and the pictures make it seem very nice. It is conveniently located to the highway and many of the tourist attractions in and around Corpus Christi. Whether you're wanting a taste of the beach, Whataburger Field, the Concrete Street Amphitheater or the Gulf of Mexico, you won't have far to travel. Business travelers will also find themselves close to many commercial hubs, including Koch Industries, Bay Industries, and Javelina Company. This hotel comes with many of the features you might need on your trip. There is an outdoor pool, fitness center and sundeck. Inside you'll find free wireless internet access, a free weekday paper and complimentary local calls. There is extensive parking area for larger vehicles, as well as pet lodging and free local calls. The Rodeway Inn provides an inexpensive stay with basic amenities for your time in Corpus Christi.

Better hotels with similar prices could make for a much lovelier Corpus Christi stay. Overwhelmingly, previous guests to the Rodeway Inn said they would not stay here again. Rooms were shockingly filthy, with claims ranging from dirt-filled carpet to bathroom wastebaskets covered in urine. While the location of the hotel puts you at the heart of most activities, it is in a dangerous neighborhood. At least one guest reported someone breaking into his vehicle, with little to no concern from management.
