This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel; the power went out due to bad weather.

The outside of the hotel was dirty.There was trash in the room when we arrived a pizza box and empty beer box.There was no smoke detector in the room.There were two outlets with no covers and wires sticking out.The card key machine was broken and we were not able to get a key all weekend.I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

When I first walked in room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke which made me naucious all evening. The patio door would not close completely. Smoke detector did not work. The bathroom is smaller than the third row of my SUV. However, the view from the balcony was extremely beautiful.. You can see the beach and the bridge going into Padre Island. I recommend Room 300, simply for the veiw.

Advertisment said the room had 3 queen beds, it barely had 2 double beds. The property was so bad

Upon arriving we discovered a bottle of prescription medicine, several articles of clothing including undergarments, a package of chewing tobacco, and dirty towels. The linens gave off a distinctly unclean smell and the room itself was in need of repair. (Light fixtures) Other than the room itself the staff was open and friendly and the location made a trip to the beach very easy.
