Overall, not a bad stay for the price, although they were experiencing serious delays caused by problems in their housekeeping department. I would suppose that it was a temporary situation. Nevertheless, since I was traveling with 5 girls and all their luggage, I would only return if I could get a street level room.

Friendly staff and clean facilities.

No elevators to second storey rooms, and rooms were not ready until 4:00 PM.

The hotel is well located and very comfortable. The shower was not functioning properly. The wireless internet did not work very well in the room, but it worked fine in the lobby area.

The room and bed were comfortable.

The valve to divert water from tub to shower did not work properly.

This Holiday Inn is one of the few full-service hotels in the area and it provides clean, quality rooms at an affordable price. Travelers who have stayed here have been pleased with the on-site dining which was tasty and reasonably priced and the friendly and efficient service from the front desk. There were some minor moans that the bathrooms were a little dated. Many visitors said they would return to this hotel on future visits to Brownsville and recommend the property to family and friends.
