The pet-friendly Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Austin Northwest provides economically priced accommodate equally suited to the business or leisure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking hotel comprises of 69 rooms and 65 suites. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a breakfast buffet, a manager's reception every Wednesday evening, a newspaper on weekday mornings, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one meeting room available for business or social events that can accommodate 16 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, the State Capitol, the LBJ Library, the University of Texas and the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum.

This Fairfield gets many good reviews about its reasonable rates, comfortable, clean accommodation and team of friendly and efficient employees. There were some complaints about the noise from the nearby train track. Tip from those who have stayed here: The trains are to the east of the hotel, so get a room on the west side. Several clients said the complimentary breakfast was no up to the normal Fairfield standard. Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Austin Northwest Accommodations

All the guestrooms, and 65 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, pullout sofa bed, Internet browser television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, CD player, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. The suites have separate living and sleeping areas and a microwave oven and refrigerator.

The hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool and an exercise room. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several restaurants nearby including the Balcones Woods Café, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, the Old San Francisco Steakhouse and Serrano’s Café. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, information on area events and attractions and a list of restaurants that will deliver to the inn. Other amenities include copy and fax services, a coin-operated laundry and valet-dry cleaning.

From Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) 22 miles: Turn left (west) out of airport and stay on access road for 1.1 miles until you reach Hwy 183 North. Stay on Hwy 183 North for approximately 19 miles. Take North MoPac Blvd. / Texas 1 - Loop exit from 183 and head north. Do not merge on to MoPac Blvd/Loop 1. Stay to the right on the service road. Stay on the service road of MoPac and go through two traffic lights. You will see the hotel on the right after the second light.
