This is a wonderful hotel for groups or events. The views are terrific and they are really set up to handle large parties. Smaller groups can get lost in the shuffle, especially if a larger group has reserved one of the golf courses.
The rooms are comfortable and many amenities are included and the view is absolutely breathtaking with rolling hills and trickling streams and brooks.
The on site spa will melt away all of your stress and the golf is renowned in these parts. There are even spa services especially designed for your kids from the Mother & Daughter Two-step Massage to the Tee'd Off Teen Relief Massage.
Need to work out? Try their 11,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Fitness Center or schedule an in room fitness training session.
There are several dining on site options available, plus there are some wonderful restaurants near by.
Boredom will never enter your mind here. There is just too much to do.

If you are booking a group or a wedding this could be an ideal location. There is plenty of room, and event planners are available. The accommodations are comfortable and the golf courses are amazing, plus there are plenty of ways to pamper yourself at the spa.
As an individual traveling, you can enjoy yourself here as long as an event is not being planned. It seems more attention to detail is placed on larger parties.

Barton Creek Resort and Spa Accommodations
Each of the 303 spacious guest rooms with very comfortable beds, including 16 suites, has high speed Internet access,television, in room movies, Nintendo games, robes, sundries and mini bar. Most have breathtaking views of the amazing Austin Hill Country.

From Austin’s Bergstrom International Airport:
As you exit the airport on Presidential Boulevard, make a left on Highway 71 heading West. Drive 5.5 miles on Highway 71 West, passing Interstate 35, to the exit for Loop 360. Take Loop 360 North 7.7 miles to the exit for Bee Caves Road/FM 2244. Make a left on Bee Caves Road and go 1 mile to the stop light at Barton Creek Boulevard. Make a left on Barton Creek Boulevard and go 1.8 miles to Barton Club Drive, and turn left into the Resort complex. Proceed to the Main Resort Entrance (third entrance on the left) for guest check-in.
